Onboarding and Casting Coordinator

**What We’re Looking For**: We need someone with excellent listening skills, a keen ear for accents, and an eye for detail. You should be responsive, organised, and confident in your written and verbal communication, as you’ll represent Voquent to a global network of clients, vendors, translators, and voice actors. Experience with casting acting talent and understanding the nuances of voice over performances will be key to your success in this role.
**Essential Skills**:
- Experience with voice-over, translation, localisation, or audiovisual projects.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines under pressure.
- Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Confidence to ask probing questions and drive results.
- Excellent active listening, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.
- Fast typing skills and excellent written communication.
**Desirable Skills**:
- Previous media experience with audio or video productions
- Experience in project coordination, management, and/or CRM systems.
- Proven experience managing multiple complex projects, particularly casting voice over or acting talent.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Proactively seek out and engage freelance voice over and acting talent, as well as agents or other suppliers with skills relevant to specific languages and project requirements.
- Assist the Production team in casting suitable talent by gathering, assessing, and presenting voice actors and other acting professionals for client approval.
- Follow Voquent processes to test and verify freelance voice talent home recording studios
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Voquent’s voice over and localisation services, and manage the coordination of voice actors, translators, subtitlers, and other subcontractors as required to support project management
- Confidently represent Voquent in all written and verbal communications with clients, talent, and suppliers.
- Ensure all voice over and acting performances, as well as related services, are delivered to the highest quality standards and meet tight project deadlines.
- Manage customer expectations and provide guidance on voice over casting, project timelines, and budgets.
- Support the business team with bespoke projects, including resourcing and testing new talent and suppliers.
- Take the initiative to identify and implement enhancements to project processes, improving the delivery of voice over and localisation services.
- Oversee quality control processes, including linguistic review, voice syncing, and audio accuracy, ensuring final deliverables meet industry standards.
- Manage project budgets, track costs, and negotiate rates with external vendors to ensure project profitability.
- Conduct post-project evaluations, gather feedback, and implement lessons learned to continuously improve voice over and localisation workflows.
