We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Room Administrator to enhance our team at Westdown Camp in Sailsbury. In this role, you will provide vital administrative support and manage radio communications, ensuring smooth operations across our extensive estate. The position is being offered on a 27-hour per week basis, shifts will be 9 hours long, 3 times per week and will include nights, rotas will be provided in advance.
**Hours/ Days**:Tuesday night 1730-0030, Thursday and Fridays 0730-1730**
**Contract: Permanent, 24/7 Shift Pattern**
Main Responsibilities
Deliver essential administrative support to the operations room, maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency
Handle radio communications and liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively
Follow structured processes and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Ensure that the “Safe Place” is established and maintained in support of military training and other estate users
Participate in a 24/7 shift rotation, ensuring operational coverage around the clock
Use bespoke and standard software packages to support administrative and operational tasks
Exhibit a friendly and professional telephone manner, capable of dealing with challenging customer inquiries
Familiar with emergency procedures and capable of quick, decisive action
Understands and can navigate using mapping and grid systems
Proficient with Microsoft Office and communications equipment, and comfortable with various software tools
Demonstrates solid reading, writing, and numerical skills
Proven track record in administrative or support roles, with strong organisational capabilities
Experience in effective communication with various stakeholders
Committed to treating everyone with respect and honesty
Shows a strong commitment to the role and the values of our business
Prioritises health and safety in all tasks, ensuring a safe environment for all
Works well with others, sharing knowledge and collaborating to achieve team goals
Builds and maintains positive relationships within and across teams
Must hold valid UK driving licence
About The Company
Landmarc provides the support services that enable Armed Forces from around the world to prepare for frontline military operations across the UK Defence Training Estate (DTE). This includes maintaining and delivering safe and sustainable infrastructure, managing and operating training areas and ranges and delivering multi-million pound projects to improve vital training assets.

We are the first and only Special Purpose Vehicle to be contracted by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) as their Industry Partner on the UK Defence Training Estate and the only company that is solely dedicated to the UK DTE, delivering essential support services since 2003.
