I am looking for a Full time **Conference & Events Executive** someone with exacting standards, fantastic attention to detail, a personal touch and above all a great work ethic
Who am **I and who are we? my name is Sean the Operations Manager for what I believe is the most beautiful venue in Leicester. **We are St Martins Hospitality, a highly commended 28-bedroom luxury hotel and St Martins House Conference Centre, both perfectly found in the heart of the historic Cathedral Quarter in Leicester.
I am looking to strengthen the **Conference & Events **department, and I need a hands-on industrious leader to oversee, build and improve on what we already have in place.
The majority our conferences are Monday - Friday with no evenings, however when we have a wedding or event on then a late finish of around 2am is required due to the bar being open, that said you must be available for weekends as and when they arise.
In brief, we have the most amazing Grand Hall which holds up to 200 guests for events, weddings, sit down dinners etc.
We then have 2 internal meeting spaces which are self sufficient with our internal departments, but still need to always have those standards in place.
Then we have 6 smaller conference centres which can hold from 8 - 40 guests.
You **will need** to be a personal license holder, as you will become the DPS for the conference centre and expected to work and run those events.
Ideally you will have a **Food Hygiene Certificate** and the relevant experience in working with food.
You will have experience working and running events, from smaller conferences to large sit-down dinners and ensuring all are planned and executed seamlessly with your team.
Working closely with the Operations Manager and the other HOD’s you will have full support but also have the confidence and experience to run the department as your own.
You will manage a team of around 5 casual staff, so you’ll need to have experience sorting out schedules, doing food and drinks orders ensuring we are always stocked and know how to manage GP and Margins
