Artemis Human Capital is working with this leading professional services company based in Belfast to hire a junior Accounts Assistant for a 12 month contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for an early career Accounts Assistant to join a vibrant global professional services business and gain valuable experience as part of a dynamic finance function.

**Typical duties**:

- Prepare and distribute intercompany invoices accurately and on time, ensuring all necessary checks are completed.
- Review invoices for accuracy and tax compliance.
- Process payment forms and update records accordingly.
- Review and follow up on overdue interfirm balances.
- Maintain accounting files and reconcile VAT records monthly.
- Develop and maintain account reconciliations between ledgers.
- Monitor various accounts to ensure reconciliation at all times.
- Liaise with other Group accounting staff and provide training on processes.
- Assist with other tasks as needed, including audit-related tasks.

**Your experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Dedicated to delivering excellence and meeting deadlines.
- Flexible and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
