Junior Accounts Assistant – Moxy Belfast

Love numbers and hotel vibes? Moxy Belfast City is on the lookout for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join our crew
part time – 3 days a week
, on site at our buzzing city centre hotel.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Preparation of the Daily Business Report.
  • Daily reconciliation of cash and credit card receipts and related investigation of variances.
  • Preparation of weekly cash lodgement.
  • Maintaining petty cash ledger.
  • Reconciliation of deposits.
  • Managing Accounts Receivable ledger – issuing invoices, collecting and allocating payments.
  • Assisting in month end journals.
  • Performing any additional duties as assigned by the Financial Controller.

Requirements

  • 1 – 2 years' experience in a similar role an advantage.
  • Experience with accountancy software essential.
  • Experience with POS system (e.g. Opera) an advantage, not a necessity.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills essential.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
