A world leading Specialty Insurer based in London are looking for a driven and dynamic individual to join their Finance Operations team as an Assistant Financial Controller. Main Duties of this Assistant FC role:

- Financial controls reporting, working closely with finance teams involved in the close process & supporting the Technical accounting manager.
- Date quality improvement including the clean-up of legacy reporting date with BAU reporting and data and process teams.
- Provide expertise and practise discipline for controls and reconciliations.
- Internal & external audit whilst working closing with finance teams during the E2E process.
- Reconciliation automation and insight of both technical and non-technical reconciliations.
- Making sure policies and procedures are in line with FinOps processes.

This role will require a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) from an Insurance market background. Strong Excel skills will be highly advantageous, as well as a strong track record or controllership and reconciliations experience.
