They are looking for a Procurement Category Manager - HR & FM to join the existing team to utilise category management and being responsiblefor anything which is classed as high value.

Hybrid role: 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home

You will be working in a close-knit team, with like-minded colleagues who all work for the company because they enjoy being part of something good. Other than a cultural fit, they are looking for people who have a category management approach, can engageand manage with a variety of stakeholder and also have strong supplier relationship management skills, in order to keep working partnership as best as it can be.

Role and responsibilities:

- End to end category management, being responsible for your two main category areas
- Develop, design and implement category strategies with relevant business areas
- Continuously drive the procurement agenda forwards
- Identify and adopt new procurement best practice in line with business objectives
- Work on the procurement projects with high value and highest complexity
- Utilised supplier relationship management with key vendors you work with
- Responsible for the entire procurement process from concept, right through to signature of contract

Experience & requirements:

- Proven procurement experience in indirect services, HR or FM being preferable
- Indirect procurement expeirecne within a private sector business
- Strong interpersonal skills, being able to manage all types and level of stakeholder
- Category management experience, as well as full end to end procurement experience
- Able to develop and create category plans and strategies
- Enjoys working in a team environment
- Act as a business partner to stakeholders
- CIPS is desirable but not essential
