**The Role**

We are looking for a Health and Safety trainer to join our existing team of on a full time basis (part time or casual will be considered) with experience in delivering some of the following construction related short courses:

- Asbestos Awareness, Confined Space, Fire Safety, First Aid, Manual Handling, MEWPS, Site Safety Plus Streetworks, Working at Height.
- Responsible for the delivery of on and off-site programmes.
- Experience of delivering online would be advantageous.
- Responsible for ongoing development of course presentation materials.
- Responsible for ensuring that all relevant course paperwork is completed to meet awarding body criteria.
- Liaising with the Training Manager for the planning and delivery of short course Training Programme.
- Contribute towards other projects and support colleagues in line with the needs of the business.

You will have the opportunity to continue to develop your skills and undertake additional training and qualifications where required.

**Essential Qualifications**

It is essential that you have one or more of the following Qualifications OR be willing to work towards;
- Degree /HND/HNC Construction Related Qualification
- Scottish/National Vocational Qualification in Construction.
- NEBOSH Diploma/Certificate
- S/NVQ Level 4 in Occupational Safety and Health
- Education & Learning Lev 3 or equivalent
- First Aid at Work
- SMSTS
- IOSH Membership
- CIOB / ICE / IOSH Membership

**Desirable**
- Experience of delivering NRSW courses or demonstrative work experience in a civils environment
- Experience of delivering or using MEWPS
- Experience of delivering or using PASMA Towers
- CSCS Managers Card
- Excellent communication, IT and written skills
- CITB Site Safety Plus (Approved Tutor Certificate)
- Highly organised and takes pride and ownership of skills delivery
- Positive teaching style with excellent presentation skills
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly
- Ability to work as part of a flexible team
