**Trainee Lettings Consultant**
**Hackney, East London, E8**
**Basic salary up to £18,000 per annum, depending upon level of experience**

**PLUSuncapped commission scheme, OTE circa £35,000 per annum in year 1**

**Monday to Thursday, 8:45am to 6.00pm, Friday, 8:45am to 5:00pm, occasional Saturdays (on rota basis) 10:00am to 4:00pm**
**This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and customer focused person to work at our highly successful and established Hackney branch as a Lettings Consultant, where we can help you become a highly successful lettings negotiator, under theguidance of an accomplished Director and supported by our Learning & Development program.**

**Requirements**:
**The main responsibility of a Lettings Consultant is to build a pipeline of completed lets, by understanding the needs and requirements of landlords, and qualifying tenants in order to match them to the right property and negotiating the terms.**

**You will be expected to;**
- Build relationships with clients to establish trust and rapport
- Generate & conduct a targeted number of viewings for residential properties
- Convert viewings to offers and then negotiate the lets of residential properties in sufficient quantity to meet agreed performance targets and to generate market appraisals
- Negotiate offers to complete the deals
- Maintain exceptional levels of customer service throughout the process & build long standing successful relationships
- Proven working experience in any sales environment would be highly advantageous
- A basic understanding of the residential lettings sector would be desirable
- Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills
- Tenacious and resilient with a drive to succeed
- Pleasant and trustworthy manner
- MS Office familiarity, and IT literate
