We are partnered with one of the UK's leading Insurance firms as they undergo a change and transformation programme and are looking to bring a Head of Digital Solutions on board on a permanent basis to help facilitate that change. The Head of Digital Solutions provides overall direction to the domain and liaises with the different Business Sponsors to ensure alignment to strategic objectives. They have overall responsibility for managing the resourcing and allocation of the engineeringresources within the Domain, and act as the highest technical escalation point in the Domain. The Head of Digital Solutions supports the Solutions Delivery Director and work alongside the Heads of Testing, Core, Integration, Data and Quality Assurance. Key Skills and Attributes: - Extensive experience with Agile Methodology (must have) - Digital Transformation Experience (must have) - Large Scale Distributed Systems - Experience with creation of strategy particularly om production - Work in a "Product" organisation not just in a "Project" organisation. - Experience with Engineering Principles - Cloud-Native The Role: The role itself will consist of creating new digital services, building change capabilities, acceleration of delivery, improve the Agile way of working and make the change delivery more effective. The successful applicant will demonstrate technical leadership, strategic planning, demand management, and change management all whilst working in a collaborative environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Cloud and AWS would be beneficial as would experience with CSharp,.net and REACT.
