**Responsibilities**:
As Technical Systems Tester, you will play a key role within Swish’s software development team, testing complex hetrogeneous disconnected systems.

On a day to day basis, you will utilise your skills to support the friendly and highly cohesive development team, utilising you knowledge of Swish’s systems to assist in the delivery of robust software solutions.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables produced comply with all functional and non-functional requirements.

**You will also be responsible for**:

- Automated testing of distributed systems
- Taking ownership of the testing process from inception to completion.
- Preparing test plans, write and maintain the functional, non-functional and regression test scripts and other test assets to support the test approach within the test management system.
- Liaising with the Project Team to define and confirm test coverage of functional, integration and regression test requirements.
- Executing the test scripts using technical tools where appropriate and record the results within the test management system.
- Investigating and logging defects with gathered evidence where actual outcomes are different to those expected.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of core systems and processes, and how those systems and processes interact (end-to-end testing).
- Ensuring that testing is compliant with best practices and business standards.
- Collaborating with other business functions / UAT testers during test cycle.
- Support Software Development Manager and product owners, gathering testing requirement when necessary.
- Clarifying test requirements and discussing defects raised.
- To provide documentation

**Requirements**:
**Essential Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills and problem solving skills.
- It is essential to have experience with automated testing using Selenium / C#.
- It is essential to have experience writing test plans and test scripts.
- Experience of testing order journeys and Website functionality
- Ability to document problems / deviation from expected performance driving towards problem resolution.
- Extensive experience and good understanding of structured test methods and processes
- Experience in Agile and waterfall Testing
- Experience of the setting up of automated and manual testing
- Extensive demonstrable experience developing test plans
- Experience executing test analysis and documenting results
- Experience in Functional Testing
- Experience in Performance Testing
- Experience in Integration Testing

**Desirable**:

- Experience with Selenium or Visual Studio
- Experience using Microsoft DevOps
- Experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience with Salesforce, IQGeo, Netadmin
