**The vacancy**

DN Colleges Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Student Disability Adviser to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential advice and support to higher education students with disabilities, helping them access the support they need to succeed.

This vacancy is based in Scunthorpe, working between North Lindsey and University Campus North Lincolnshire.

**Day to Day Responsibilities**:

- Serve as the main contact for HE students who declare a disability.
- Develop and share support plans and reasonable adjustments with relevant staff.
- Signpost students to internal support services and provide advice on relevant policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate data on DSA and participate in regular monitoring and planning meetings.
- Complete all relevant administration and proactively engage in professional development.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Good written and oral communication skills at GCSE level.
- Relevant Level 4 qualification.
- Experience working with students with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities.
- Knowledge of the impact of disability in the learning environment and relevant legislation.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals or groups from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organisational skills and a professional attitude to supporting students.
