Our Recruitment Professional Indemnity (PI) team specialises in providing bespoke insurance solutions to recruitment agencies, ensuring they are protected against the unique risks they face.

**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Underwriter to join our Recruitment PI team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in underwriting within a dynamic and supportive environment. You will play a key role in supporting the team, assessing risks, and delivering tailored insurance solutions to our clients.

**How you'll make an impact**
- ** Risk Assessment**: Assist in evaluating and underwriting risks within the Recruitment PI sector, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and company policies.
- ** Policy Management**: Support the preparation, issuance, and renewal of policies, endorsements, and documentation.
- ** Client Support**: Collaborate with brokers and clients to provide exceptional service, addressing queries and ensuring a seamless underwriting process.
- ** Data Analysis**: Analyse data and trends to support decision-making and identify opportunities for growth within the Recruitment PI portfolio.
- ** Team Collaboration**: Work closely with senior underwriters and other team members to achieve team objectives and deliver on business targets.
- ** Compliance**: Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.
- ** Continuous Improvement**: Contribute to process improvements and share ideas to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

**About You**
- ** Experience**: Previous experience in underwriting, insurance, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- ** Knowledge**: An understanding of Professional Indemnity insurance or the recruitment sector is advantageous.
- ** Attention to Detail**: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- ** Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with brokers and clients.
- ** Organisation**: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- ** Team Player**: A collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and support team objectives.
- ** IT Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with insurance systems or platforms.
