**Data Base Administrator**

Specifically you will be part of a team of DBAs transforming, supporting and maintaining a system of critical national infrastructure to public cloud adhering to engineering best practices.

You will be expected to work closely with team members and the broader data team to transition legacy databases to AWS Cloud.

Highly technical in nature, in your role you will need demonstrable experience of working with enterprise platforms.

The legacy platform utilises a wide variety of data technologies so you must be flexible and quick to acquire new skills.

Essential
- Relational Database Skills
- Oracle
- Postgres Aurora
- Demonstrable experience of working with stored procedures, functions and triggers
- Demonstrable experience of backup and restore of databases
- Debugging data issues
- Data migration, exposure to AWS tooling beneficial
- Unix/Linux scripting
- Working in an agile environment
- Must be able to obtain an SC security clearance

Desirable skills
- Building and managing databases using DevOps processes, e.g. build through pipelines.
