We are an independent company providing personal, practical and social care to our Service Users in their own home environment on a one to one basis. Our services are designed, primarily, for the elderly who are physically frail or housebound and are undertaken by our team of trained, dedicated and experienced staff. We provide care services to both private clients and those referred to us directly by Social Services. We operate in Hailsham, Polegate, Eastbourne and the surrounding areas. we give you excellent training and progression within the company. we also help with NVQ.

**Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to individuals in a care home setting. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires effective communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.

**Duties**
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support residents in daily living activities such as meal preparation, feeding, and mobility assistance.
- Communicate effectively with residents to understand their needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and update care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents.
- Drive residents to appointments or social activities when required.
- Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all residents by adhering to health and safety regulations.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to follow care plans accurately and provide personalised support to residents.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting residents as needed.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
