We are looking for one half-time highly specialist clinical/counselling psychologists to join our evolving and dynamic team at The Chelsea Psychology Clinic (TCPC).

**Purpose of the job**:
The post-holder will provide a highly specialist psychology service to clients of The Chelsea Psychology Clinic (TCPC). They will provide highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy for clients from diverse backgrounds presenting with complexdifficulties including medically unexplained symptoms, personality difficulties, eating disorder symptomatology and trauma.They will provide high quality evidence based psychological treatments tailored to the needs of their clients. They will be expectedto see 10+ clients per week and to work within the protocols and frameworks as set by TCPC. There will also be opportunities to offer supervision and training on clients’ psychological care to qualified psychologists within the service; direct clinical contacttime will be adjusted as needed to reflect this. The post-holder will be able to determine their own working pattern, provided this fits with and is responsive to the needs of TCPC.

**Key responsibilities**:
- To provide highly specialist psychological assessments and formulation-driven, evidence based treatment of clients of TCPC based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including self-report measures,rating scales, observations and interviews with clients, as appropriate. This may include individuals, couples and/or families, presenting with complex psychological difficulties (e.g., features of personality disorder, trauma, medically explained symptomsand eating disorders).
- To plan and prioritise one’s workload effectively and autonomously; to be responsible and accountable for managing one’s caseload.
- To conduct risk assessments, prepare risk management plans, and initiate appropriate action where indicated (including referrals to relevant services, if appropriate).
- To participate in clinical audit and service evaluation with colleagues within the service, to help evaluate and improve service provision
- To provide clinical supervision for qualified psychologists within the service. Support peer learning through attending and contributing to training webinars/CPD events.
