Groundworker Gang

**About us**

We are are Civils & Groundworks Contractor specialising in Section 38, 278 and Section 104 Adoptions. We carry out works for a number of well known developers to ensure that sites are adopted by the local authority and water utility company. We are professional and care about our people and what we do. We have a vast portfolio of work on adoptions, fibre trackwork, traditional groundworks schemes to some heavy civils. For the right gang a small van will be provided.

**We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team at MJL. We can provide training to all our employees and work hard to make sure the job is completed on time and to our clients requirements.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Perform tasks as required in line with scope of works. This can include:

- Kerb removals and Kerb installation
- Block Paving works
- Tarmacing - this can include both Footways and Carriageways, both patches and full lengths. We need teams who can Labour, Lay, Finish.
- Carry out general drainage works including benching manholes, replacing pipework, excavating down and installing new MHs and Pipework and generally working as part of a team.
- Perform tasks in a safe manner taking the approach of Safety First
- Performs other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.

**Experience**:

- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and/or excavating or raking equipment.
- Experience working on Construction sites or under adverse conditions for extended periods of time.
- Be in possession of a CSCS Card
- Be in possession of a Streetworks Operatives Card
- Ideally have NPORS or CPCS Plant Tickets - Excavator/Dumper/Roller
- Ideally have a Confined Space Medium Risk Qualification
