**Job description**:
Responsible for supporting the delivery of Facilities Management, Infrastructure, Health & Safety, Telephony and other associated tasks at the DBS Abbey Wood North Site. Support for wider DBS sites may also be required as directed.

Key Responsibilities of the role are as follows:

- Support Health & Safety, Infrastructure, Facilities Management, Personal Security and Telephony working procedures and standards to ensure mandatory statuary compliance is met.
- Action DBS Estates related procurement requests ensuring best value in accordance with MOD financial control systems and procedures.
- Responsible for the control of Stationery and Printer Consumables at DBS Abbey Wood North ensuring value for money and compliance is achieved for Defence.
- Lead as the local team Security Administrator managing the control of Staff Identity Cards and Car Passes.
- When required provide support for aspects of Health & Safety matters including risk assessment, fire safety, emergency planning, hazard identification helping to ensure legal compliance is met.
- Be responsible for reporting and recording faults to the Regional Prime Contractor ensuring that the required lead times are adhered to. Follow the progress of all fault reporting and liaise with contractors as required on site.
- Support the control of all infrastructure work undertaken by approved contractors as supported by Defence Infrastructure Organisation and the Regional Prime Contractor.
- Communicate with External Agencies/Professionals where appropriate to the role.
- Administer the provision of hire cars within DBS Southern Sites including booking cars, issuing drivers packs,conducting licence checks and assurance activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and assisting customers with queries.
- Undertake other duties within the Estates commensurate to the grade and role as directed by the Line Manager.

**Person specification**:
Essential Qualifications/To be obtained within 6 Months of appointment:

- IOSH Managing Safely
- Fire Marshall
- Financial System Training (CP&F & ePc)
- FDIS Tier 1
- Clarity Console Training
