**Job Overview** As a new company we are now registering freelancers for support roles starting in January 2025 and on throughout the year. We are seeking dedicated and experienced freelance Non-Medical Help (NMH) Support Workers to join our team across London. Our clients are either DSA or ATW, and also HE institutes. Pay is a minimum of £16ph. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality support to individuals with specific learning needs / SEN (for example, visual or hearing impairments, or mobility issues), in university settings, in either undergraduate or postgraduate contexts. This work includes the following tasks: practical support, library assistance, reader, scribe, workshop / laboratory assistant, proof reading and sighted guidance (if the client has a visual or mobile impairment). **Experience and Qualifications** - Previous experience working in-person with people with specific learning needs or physical disabilities, one year minimum is desirable. - An undergraduate degree is also desirable but not required. **Skills** **and Requirements** - Proven experience in NMH support (e.g. for HEI, A2W or DSA) is highly desirable. - Excellent timekeeping and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and work independently. - Strong organisational skills and a problem solving attitude for situational awareness and social contexts. - A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve the quality of their experience in education or employment. - Strong ability with MS Word is necessary for notetaking roles. - For any specialist support roles please send any certifications with your CV.
