We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the North West Locality Impact team and work on Engagement in the area.

Reporting to the Engagement Lead, the Engagement Officer will work with colleagues across the locality to deliver against engagement activity, including managing relationships with the Stroke Association voluntary-led support groups, developing the North West groups network, and building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including groups, partners, stroke survivors and carers in the locality.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting stroke survivors to be able to take part in a range of different opportunities, to provide the voice of lived experience.
- Building and maintaining key relationships with key stakeholders.
- Supporting with relationship mapping and development.
- Enabling peer support and self-sustaining stroke communities to flourish in the locality.
- Supporting Volunteer recruitment.

You will have experience/understanding of:

- Managing and developing volunteers.
- Working in partnership with other organisations, ideally in voluntary, health and social care.
- Developing support using co-production with service users.
- Supporting groups and developing networks.

To fulfil the role, you must be a resident of the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
