**What is the role?**

We are currently looking for Customer Sales Advisors to join us at our Huddersfield store on various contracts including part time and casual.

**The main responsibilities of this role include**:

- Providing customers with a high level of customer service
- Sales of service packages, parts and accessories
- Having a tip top product knowledge
- Ensuring our customers are always happy
- Stocking in deliveries
- Restocking products and ensuring the shop is tidy and in order
- Product demonstrations where necessary
- Booking in services and repairs for the workshop
- Building new bikes for the sales floor
- Some bike maintenance and repairs as required
- Helping to keep the shop and work areas spick and span
- Responsible for daily opening and closing of retail premises as required
- Processing online orders received from the CWY online store
- Opportunity to take part in or lead Cycle Works Yorkshire group rides
- Promoting Cycle Works Yorkshire at cycle events and shows
- Working to support reduction of our carbon footprint

**About you**
- We are looking for someone with previous experience working within the cycle industry who has good communication and customer service skills who can really contribute to our thriving business
- Passionate about cycling
- Good knowledge of cycle products and the industry
- You must have excellent communication skills and understand the importance of great customer service
- You must work well under pressure and enjoy working as part of a small team
- Comfortable using online technology in the job
- Must be available to work weekends and part of a rota/shift work schedule

**Qualifications and experience**:

- Previous experience in the cycle industry (desirable)
- Previous customer service experience (desirable, ideally in the cycle industry)
