Advantage Resourcing are recruiting for a Technical Project Manager to join a leading Telecommunications business based in Reading.
You will own large, complex client projects and ensure each underlying project is accomplished on schedule, on budged, to agreed quality standards and to the complete satisfaction of the client.
Ideally you will have a good understanding of customer networks, UCC, Security and SD WAN solutions.
The Lead Project Manager will:

- Engage in sales opportunities well in advance of the contract signature phase to
ensure thorough capture of client requirements and to facilitate a project kick-off as
early as possible.
- Prepare and deliver client project plans to ensure accurate expectations are set and
to advise clients of any critical project milestones.
- Provide professional end-to-end project management for clients.
- Lead the virtual project team (as the overall primary point of contact) throughout a
client project lifecycle and ensure that all key milestones are met.
- Ensure that project delivery activities are coordinated between the client, sales account team, and internal groups (e.g., Service Delivery, Order Manager, Billing,
and Service Management).
- Coordinate, hosting, and attending virtual team meetings with clients, account teams,
and internal stakeholder groups.
- Assess, record and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies against program on-time
delivery, quality, and budget.
Essential qualifications/experience:

- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
- Prince2 Practitioner certification or PMP or similar
- Significant project management experience within a IT or telecommunications
environment
- Demonstrable experience in managing and leading virtual project teams - including all
standard project management capabilities.
- Full understanding of project budgets and cost/revenue tracking
Desirable qualifications/experience:

- Experience in Lean Six Sigma philosophies (potentially with certification).
- Demonstrable experience working in a matrix environment where influence provides
results rather than rank.
- Experience in AGILE working practices.
