Our Portfolio Management Group (PMG) is a centre of excellence, driving change and operational delivery across our organisation to meet the evolving needs of our internal customers and shareholders.

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of high-impact projects. This role is critical to ensuring our programmes align with shareholder requirements and deliver measurable benefits.

What You'll do:

  • You'll be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex projects, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality standards. Your daily activities will include:
  • Project Delivery & Governance - Manage the planning, execution, and closure of projects, ensuring alignment with shareholder goals and MBNL governance.
  • Progress & Performance Monitoring - Track milestones, manage risks and interdependencies, and report progress through structured forums and control points.
  • Budget & Benefit Management - Forecast and monitor budgets, identify efficiencies, and ensure spend aligns with shareholder value delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Act as the day-to-day agent of the Senior Responsible Owner, managing communications and relationships across senior leadership.
  • Methodology & Continuous Improvement - Champion best practices in project and programme management, contributing to the evolution of MBNL's PMG standards and tools.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven success in managing complex programmes and projects within transmission
  • A background in managing the delivery of software and firmware upgrades.
  • Strong supplier management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Ability to resolve conflict and navigate challenging situations.

Nice-to-Have:


• Experience working in a joint venture (JV) environment.


• Telecommunications industry experience


• Understanding of MBNL's wider role and team interactions
