The Transforming Research Support (TRS) Programme is one of these initiatives. It aims to deliver new systems, processes and ways of working that improve the way we manage research grants, leading to a better experience for our staff and external stakeholders. Ultimately, it will help the University remain a destination of choice for the best academics, students and professional research staff.

This is a great opportunity to work on an initiative that reaches across the whole university as part of an established, professional and friendly team.

As the Programme Coordinator, you will:

- Work closely with the Programme Manager, Delivery Manager and delivery team to support project management activities (planning, budgeting, people management)
- Co-ordinate and oversee key programme activities of both the team and the programme's key stakeholders
- Advise the team on their individual plans, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring that the programme runs as efficiently as possible
- Organise programme-related activities and events including meetings, seminars and workshops
- Support communication activities such as updating our website, publicising the programme and various events
- Update, maintain and distribute programme documentation
- Experience in programme/project coordination and management
- Demonstrate excellent planning and organisation skills
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills across a variety of stakeholders
- Demonstrate factual and theoretical knowledge of project co-ordination/management

Fixed term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
