A leading AWS Partner consultancy are on the lookout for an experienced Solutions Architect to join their established AWS practice on a permanent basis to support their ongoing UK, US and EU based growth. The solutions architect would be working with thesenior technical cloud, data and DevOps teams to define enterprise client’s requirements, architecting cloud native solutions with a particular responsibility for AWS Serverless and Core service architect as part of big data, AI/ML, DevOps transformation andinfrastructure migration projects for a broad client base.

The solutions architect would have the opportunity to work on a wide array of different projects across multiple sectors (finance, automotive, retail, amongst others), focussing on a mixture of:

- Translating client’s requirements (functional and non-functional) into cloud native solutions, incorporating AWS best practices as well as aligning with client’s strategy and compliance
- Leveraging AWS Serverless, Core and Network services to deliver effective, cost efficient, secure solutions that maximise value and utility for client’s
- Work with Data Engineering and AI/ML teams to design and implement cloud platforms and automation pipelines to support solution hosting, integration and delivery
- Support all aspects of the engagement lifecycle, from providing technical advice in pre-sales meetings to governance and oversight in the platform/solutions delivery process

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Proven experience designing large and complex AWS solutions, with specific projects involving the Serverless stack - Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo DB etc.
- AWS Core and Network services experience, at a design and/or hands on engineering level, ideally utilising infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Stakeholder or client facing project/requirement definition

**Experience with the following would be beneficial**:

- AWS Certifications to Professional or Specialty levels
- Client facing consultancy as an architect, developer or engineer
- Terraform or CloudFormation infrastructure as code based AWS deployment, and Jenkins / AWS Codepipeline CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to data engineering, data lakes, Machine Learning, Big Data and Artificial intelligence projects or tech stacks
