**About the Service - Housing & Homelessness Services**

The Northeastern is a safe home is the solid base from which you build your life. We support people who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk of becoming homeless, as well as providing specialist accommodation and outreach services for rough sleepers, veterans, survivors of domestic abuse, women and young people.

Accommodation to us doesn’t just mean a roof over your head and shelter from the elements. It needs to be a welcoming and flourishing environment, offering opportunities for all those we support to feel comfortable and develop. You can make a difference and support people on their journey towards a brighter future. At Changing Lives, we offer a home rather than just a shelter.

**About the Job**

**The Northeastern is a 18 bed male only project who work closely with Durham County Council and as part of your role you will be allocated 3 or 4 residents to support. And you will create support plans and risk assessments based on their individual needs. You will also be on a rota working anywhere from early shift 8am - 4pm, 9pm - 5pm or 2pm - 10pm bank holidays and weekends. You will also work alongside our amazing team who consist of Nicola our senior, 3 support workers Kat, Charlotte and James and our engagement and resilience worker Ellie.
