Team Leader

Our Knightsbridge Dispatch team are now looking for a Team Leader to
- Oversee the operation of the department by leading the team and ensuring deliveries and warehouse operations are completed within the agreed SLA._

About The Role

The Team Leader supervises the warehouse operatives’ individual assignments and checks all tasks are being carried out correctly according to the department procedures.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Investigating queries and error forms, and escalating issues were necessary.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with the operations team, the shopfloor departments and other external stakeholders.
- Issuing and maintaining a high level of training, support and guidance to all operatives (current and new).
- Running SLA reports and updating management with all issues.
- Ensuring that all members of staff adhere to the Company’s policies and departmental procedures.
- Providing guidance and feedback, and monitoring daily activities within the department.

You will have experience working a warehouse and distribution environment. You will possess strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills. You will be a team player who can develop and maintain trusted relationships at all levels. You will be flexible and ready to work to flexible days/hours and demonstrate the ability to adapt to the change demands of the business.
