We’re now seeking a **Senior Pre-Construction Planner** with strong **Mechanical & Electrical** expertise and proven **Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)** exposure to join our high-performing pre-construction team. Based in either **Preston** or **Stockport**, this is a pivotal role in shaping winning bids and setting projects up for success from day one.

**What You’ll Do**
- Develop detailed, fully resourced programmes for design, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning - with a key focus on M&E, BESS, and cable-laying projects.
- Work closely with bid and technical teams to ensure programmes align with client needs, technical constraints, and project strategy.
- Translate tender programmes into robust, deliverable construction plans.
- Provide risk analysis, planning insight, and data-driven reporting to influence commercial and operational decisions.
- Represent planning in client and internal meetings, offering M&E-specific expertise.
- Mentor junior planners and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Proven track record in **pre-construction and delivery planning** for complex infrastructure projects.
- Hands-on **M&E planning experience**, with **BESS** and cable-laying knowledge highly desirable.
- Proficiency in **Primavera P6** and strong project controls knowledge.
- Understanding of FIDIC and other major contract forms.
- Strong communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to thrive in competitive bid environments.
