Production Planner

**Westwood Recruitment** are on the lookout for a **Production Planner** to join our client on a permanent basis in Bredbury with an immediate start available. For this role, you will join a busy team creating and assisting with allocations and job card routings throughout the various levels of manufacture.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop route cards, collaborating closely with the programming department, to devise the most cost-effective and efficient manufacturing methods.
- Ensure timely dissemination of all necessary documentation to the shop floor through work to lists.
- Collaborate with Stores/Goods Inwards to guarantee the availability of materials and kits required for manufacturing and assembly.
- Manage rework operations resulting from NCRs, adjusting route sheets as necessary.
- Contribute to Pre-production Meetings to identify and implement optimal manufacturing approaches.
- Support the Production Scheduler in effectively loading each work center.
- Offer guidance and support to the Sales Department to ensure accurate quotations regarding cost and lead time.
**Job Requirements**
- Experience in scheduling CNC machining operations and outside services is desirable, though not essential.
- Demonstrated responsiveness and ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Ideally you are have just finished college/graduated from University or are someone with a lot of experience
**What is on Offer**
