What will I be doing as a Production Planner?
As a Production Planner you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the manufactured stock levels
You will negotiate the cost of materials and ensure it is purchased in the most cost-effective method
You will ensure cost and trend analysis on the manufactured goods
You will raise and process work and purchase orders
You will ensure strong communication is kept within all departments i.e.. Finance, Sales, Procurement, Warehouse and Production
Any other general ad hoc duties where required
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills & experience
You have previous experience within a manufacturing background
You have an analytical approach with a strong attention to detail
Knowledge of the Sage manufacturing system is advantageous however isnt essential for this role
You have strong communication and decision-making skills
