Social Media and Marketing Assistant Job Purpose: Working closely with the Managing Director of a growing marketing firm, you will create engaging content for use on clients’ and our own social media platforms, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences. You will get the opportunity to learn and enhance knowledge and experience in a range of marketing disciplines, including website design and development, content writing/blogging, Search Engine Optimisation and more. Social Media and Marketing Assistant Job Duties: -Manages company social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms -Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms -Creates dynamic written, graphic, and video content -Optimises content following search engine optimisation (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) strategies -Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation -Assists social media management with large projects, events, and community management -Works as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns -Updates websites, through a variety of Content Management Systems (predominantly WordPress) -Analyses and reports audience information and demographics, and success of existing campaigns -Proposes new ideas and concepts for content -Works with marketing and social media team members to coordinate ad campaigns with social media strategy -Writes and distributes e-newsletters to subscribers -Manages communications on a range of platforms -Uses timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimise visits Social Media and Marketing Assistant Skills and Qualifications -Basic technology skills (website management experience desirable) -Content writing ability with a good standard of written English essential -Marketing and social media awareness and experience desirable -Graphic design skills (such as using platforms like Canva, PhotoShop) -Teamwork -Self-motivation -Strong communication skills -Enthusiasm -Attention to detail -Desire to learn and grow

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £12,000.00 per year
