We are looking for a Level 2+ Playworker at our Highwoods Community Primary School setting. This a Maternity Cover role but could lead to a permanent role either in this or another setting.
The hours we are currently offering are Monday to Friday mornings and afternoons 7.00am-9am and 2.45pm-6pm.
We do support all our staff with continuous professional development and can help you achieve a childcare qualification if you choose to follow that path. The pay rate is dependent on age and experience/qualification.
It is important that you are a good communicator, work well within a team, you like having fun and most of all love children.
You must have sufficient understanding and use of spoken and written English.
Your duties will include, safeguarding children, engaging with children, supporting their emotional and physical development, record keeping, assisting with breakfast/snack preparation, planning for individual needs, managing behaviour, assisting with activities, observing children, attending team meetings and completing training as required.
