**The Company**
Nurse Seekers are proud to be recruiting a Senior Support Worker or Support Worker on behalf of a great care provider who operate multiple care homes across East Anglia who have been well established for a number of years.
Our client prides themselves on putting residents’ needs and feelings first throughout their homes with a dedicated team of care staff. The homes provide independence, choice and individuality within a loving, home from home environment.
**The Home**
We are currently recruiting for their residential care facility for adults with physical and/or learning disabilities in the lovely village of Feering, close to Colchester.
The home benefits from a ground floor design with full accessibility to all areas, including well maintaining communal gardens and grounds. Care offered at the home is focussed on independence and progression and staff strive to deliver positive outcomesfor all residents.
**The Role**
The client is currently looking for both Senior Support Workers and Support Workers to add to their already established and well experienced team.
As a residential Support Worker you will be required to provide high quality care and support which meets the physical, emotional intellectual, social and cultural needs of the residents.
Through providing a caring, supportive and nurturing environment, establishing positive relationships and ensuring that each young person's care plan is followed and amended to reflect their changing needs you will play a key role in their development andwellbeing.
The main duties include but are not limited to:
- To ensure all service users are treated fairly and afforded equal opportunity.
- Maintain and use existing skills and develop new ones
- Ensure the the person you are supporting is healthy and manage their wellbeing accordingly
- To support with very subtly personal care the abides with their care plans
**Desired Qualifications**
- NVQ 2 or above
