If you’re a Level 2 or above Qualified Early Years Teacher, sometimes called Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Educator we have the chance for you to join our South Bermondsey Nursery, close to Bermondsey underground station and South Bermondsey railway station.

A Level 2 starting salary of up to £24,721 for full time, 40 hours per week or £28,012 for Level 3 qualified. Let us know if you prefer your shifts to be split over 4 or 5 days. If you’re looking for less hours than 40 then we also encourage you to apply

What we look for in our Teachers

Each nursery shares LEYF's unique teaching model but you will have the freedom to be creative to suit how the children learn best. Whether you hop on a train to the Science Museum, take a bus to make friends at a nearby LEYF nursery, or host a baking session with your nursery chef, you’ll create amazing learning experiences for your children in your classroom.

You'll hold a Level 2 or above childcare qualification that is full and relevant for the Early Years sector to count in legal Nursery Educator ratios. You’ll also need to hold the right to work in the UK to join us. Unfortunately we cannot offer visa sponsorship to any applicants at this time.

As part of the recruitment process, we’ll be looking for evidence of your ability to protect and safeguard children in your care and for you to showcase a knowledgeable, passionate and imaginative approach to providing high quality Early Years education.
