We are currently looking for a **Financial Controller UKI sales based in Penrith, UK.** The Controller will be part of a wider international finance team but with focus on the UKI sales region and is responsible for ensuring high quality withinfinancial controlling and for the continuous improvement of finance processes.
**About your new team**:
The finance team is characterized by having a strong team-spirit, experienced employees, and good collaboration and support, with the emphasis on strong performance. The work environment is informal with close support and interaction with multiple stakeholdersacross the global organization.
**Main tasks & responsibilities**:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports (IFRS)
- Ensure effective, accurate and timely reconciliation of the company accounts
- Monitor internal controls and analyzing KPI’s
- Lead annual financial audits, external and internal
- Provide support for in time issuing the annual statutory financial statements (UK GAAP)
- Improve accounting and compliance related processes
- Handle tax matters such as VAT and corporate tax reporting
- Participation in various improvement projects from the Head office (in Denmark)
**To succeed in this role, we expect you to have the following**:
- 3+ years of experience
- Degree on any related financial or economical field
- Previous experience in similar role (preferably at a multinational company)
- Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting processes and ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
- Experience in cooperating with outsourcing partners, is considered an advantage, as the daily bookkeeping is outsourced
- Knowledge of SAP is advantage
