Financial Controller

Reporting to the key stakeholders, your primary objective is to manage and maintain all existing functions of all accounting systems, transactions processing plus control and reporting with primary responsibility for the accuracy, efficiency and overallintegrity of the company's financial data and accounting information. Your ability as a Financial Controller will include the management of a team, inspiring work behaviours, assisting with the improvement of skill sets and ongoing PDP's for the ongoing successof the wider financial team.
Naturally as Financial Controller you will have oversight and control of the balance sheet - including the completeness, correctness and accuracy of accounting functions. You will liaise with statutory auditors and coordinate the year end audit plus thepreparation of statutory regulatory reporting, all HMRC/Government compliance and reporting and tax filings. You will have experience when managing foreign currency, transfer pricing options and a sound knowledge of UK and global financial issues, workingin partnership with the local management team to share knowledge, working collaboratively to facilitate wider company policies, endorse and execute continuous high standards of work and wider group performance.
With exceptional verbal and written communication skills, advanced working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and ERP systems plus exposure to additional financial software, you will ensure that all reporting, written communication and compliancerecording is maintained to a consistent high level, aiming to exceed (where possible) KPI's across the wider accounting function.
