You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle, creating truly memorable and impressive 5* experiences for our guests. About Us Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has recently completed a multi-million pound refurbishment program bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes' drive from Bristol, it offers 27 bedchambers and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar and two unique meeting and conference spaces. Our company goal is to deliver "refined and personalised hospitality" to enable our hotel to be a place where all guests can relax, enjoy themselves and have a break from normal life. Job description About You Ensuring bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned to a high standard, including vacuuming, polishing and refreshing linen and towels. Cleaning and tidying our public areas ready for the guests. Restocking guest room supplies, including linen, amenities, and collaterals. Engaging with guests where required. Report any maintenance deficiencies to housekeeping manager. Cleaning rooms can be physically demanding but you will receive full training and be surrounded by a supportive team. The Offer £11.10 per hour Part time permanent position - 16-20 hours per week worked over 4-5 days including weekends. Hours range 10 am to 3pm Will include one evening turndown shift per week An additional share of service charge and tips (paid out every 2 months) 28-day holiday including bank holidays plus a Paid day off on your birthday Referral program - £250 per new member of staff introduced (based on an offer of a full time contract) Complimentary stay at the castle after 3 months passed probation period Training programs via internal & external professionals and access to online training facilities Staff and Family rates on hotel accommodation and discounts on food and beverage Recognition programs Access to online training facilities Career development programs Uniform provided and free parking available
