**SEMH Teaching Assistant**

**Salary**:£21,564 SCP4 to £22,302 SCP6 per year

**Daily Rate**: £90 - £120 per day

**Contract Type: Temp to Perm**

**Location: Stockport**

**Start Date: ASAP**

This role is working 39 weeks per year plus 6 weeks holiday to be taken during school closure periods. We are looking for TA's and 1:1 TA's on both permanent and on a fixed term basis.

**About Us**:
SEND Inclusion Support is currently in search of a committed and empathetic SEMH Teaching Assistants to join the staff team in a lovely SEN school in Stockport.

**Role Overview**:
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students with diverse needs. Collaborating closely with teachers and other professionals, you'll provide one-to-one and small group support, assist with accessing the curriculum, and foster independent learning. Your empathetic and caring approach will create a positive and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring that every child feels valued and empowered to learn.

**Requirements**:

- Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Demonstrate previous experience in supporting students with SEMH.
- Possess effective communication skills and the ability to establish professional relationships with students and parents/carers.
- Exhibit enthusiasm, commitment, and flexibility to make a positive impact on students' educational journey.
