Job Introduction
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Management Support Officer to join our busy Regulatory Services Team.
Keeping people, our environment, and businesses safe is at the heart of everything we do, and you will be given the unique opportunity to work across our socially and economically diverse Borough, helping us to develop and deliver a first-class service across the full range of Regulatory Services, including Licensing, Environmental Crime, Trading Standards, Anti-Social Behaviour, Housing, Food and Health & Safety.

You will provide comprehensive management support, helping to identify areas for improvement, managing projects, collating and analysing data, as well as being the first point of contact for enquiries. You will support meetings, have some financial responsibility and help with communication and policy development across the regulatory framework.
Join us on our digital journey, and you will also support the implementation and development of a new ICT system as we look to enable greater levels of customer self-serve to achieve better outcomes for people and businesses.
You will have:
- 4 GCSEs grades A-C (4-9) (including Maths and English) or equivalent qualifications.
- Level 3 qualification or similar in administration **OR** the ability to demonstrate extended experience to carry out the full range of duties.
- Relevant experience in a customer focussed management support, or similar administrative/financial role with knowledge of current practices and office systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to respond appropriately to customers with different needs.
- Experience of planning, organising and supporting meetings, including the ability to produce accurate reports and presentations.
- Highly developed ICT and digital skills.
- The ability to balance competing demands and prioritise tasks, working to deadlines in a busy environment.
