Our client is looking to add a Corporate Tax Director to their business. As a Corporate Tax Director, you'll be at the helm of their fabulous Tax Team, managing Corporate Tax Managers and contributing to this fast-growing and successful practice.- Managing client relationships as the sole point of contact.
- Providing an excellent corporate tax reporting and compliance cycle service.
- Handling a mix of ongoing compliance and advisory projects.
- Typical advisory projects include capital allowance reviews, acquisitions, disposals and reorganisations.
- Attend monthly partner meetings and become an integral part of the team, aiming to deliver excellence to clients.
- Preferably CTA and/or ACA qualified and have experience in a Senior Management/ Director level position.
- The role will require excellent technical skills and experience, and have a thorough understanding of UK corporate tax issues.
- You must have experience of managing a team, and helping to deliver a very high standard of professional work to a challenging and varied portfolio of clients. The individual should also be able to market his/her skills and those of the firm, both on a one-to-one basis and in presentations.
- Be innovative with vision, creativity and show flair.
- Ideally the role will require you to have previously dealt with a range of tax issues appropriate to our client base of corporate clients. This should include tax planning, capital gains, capital allowances, company restructuring, the review of corporate tax returns and all aspects of general advisory services you would expect to offer to corporate clients.
- Ability to look at the tax issues of private companies both from the point of view of the company structure, and that of their owners.
