Railway Security Officer

**Responsibilities**:
- Monitor various locations for suspicious activity or accidents.
- Report or apprehend illegal activity or accidents, as appropriate.
- Liaise with the client to ensure their needs are met and passenger safety is prioritised
- Be friendly and provide a positive security presence.
- Give vital information to clients customers, giving appropriate advice and direction
- Regularly patrol sites, ensuring you cover all areas in great detail
- Remain calm in emergencies.
Please note this role is for relief staff. To cover sickness, holidays and additional last minute work.
This role is ideal for someone already employed elsewhere or someone looking to top up their weekly earnings.
Average week will be 2x 8hr shifts with additional shifts available throughout the week.
We can work around your current job, as this is a relief role you would not be expected to take a shift if you could not attend
In certain circumstances where a full time job may become available our relief staff will be offered the role first, before looking externally.

Part-time hours: 16 per week
**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
