**About The Role**:
We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our Security Team as a Security Officer at our Hereford Office. This is a full time position for 37.5 hours per week and weekend shifts.

You will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of security across the entire allpay site, in line with PCI DSS standards. As the first point of contact for visitors, external suppliers, and contractors, you will have the chance to provide exceptional customer service and showcase your professionalism and courteousness.

You will be the first point of contact for visitors, external suppliers or contractors to allpay Limited providing excellent customer service and dealing with enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

As a Security Officer, your primary responsibilities will involve:

- Patrolling the premises of allpay and monitoring the CCTV control room to prevent and identify any signs of intrusion, ensuring the physical security of building and the surrounding area.
- Interacting with any unauthorised personnel on-site in a professional and courteous manner.
- Responding to fire and intruder alarms, or reports of criminal activity, and investigating any disturbances promptly.
- Understanding and implementing appropriate operational activities and agreed changes necessary to comply with PCI DSS requirements.

In addition to these duties, you will also be required to:
Providing ad hoc out of hours support, act as trained first aider, fire marshal and defib operator, and to become a key holder for the Company.

**About You**:
You will be able to demonstrate to us that you have:

- Relevant qualifications and memberships for the role, preferably trained to licenced S.I.A level;
- Excellent customer care skills and ability to deal with the public;
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, and associated legislation;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT skills;
- Effective communication skills, written and oral, to make clear informed decisions under pressure in order to resolve any given situation.
