**Job summary**:
Provide assistance in the day to day running of the Garrison Security Cell. Conduct checks as part of the mitigation of risk to both personnel and infrastructure.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
**Job description**:
- Security Cell Admin Officer (AO): To Assist the department with administrative support enabling areas of the cell to function efficiently. Clerical work, communication, management of events and a use of IT will be key to supporting the organisation. Management of activities and events on behalf of the line manager to support the Establishment.
**Person specification**:
- Main Objectives
The Security Cell (AO) will:
- Handle a range of routine activities that support the Security Cell. Work with departments to facilitate any maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate the SharePoint pages applicable to the department, collaborating closely with the Information managers and service providers.
- Assist in decision making. prioritise, work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines.
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills to their colleagues.
- Work with limited supervision, within the department. The Security Cell requires a flexible, self-motivated individual with the ability to manage and prioritise a diverse workload and engage with others; basic digital
literacy is essential.
- To provide administrative support to the Security Officer and department.
