**The Role**
Fortem are actively recruiting for a Senior Estimator to join our team here in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. Please note, Fortem supports agile working. You will be working within the central procurement team focusing on strategic contract opportunities, with the aim of helping to grow the business by winning work through competitive tendering and framework opportunities. The role will be responsible for all elements of pricing and will involve working with senior management in the business to form operational solutions and opportunities give Fortem a competitive edge.
**The Project**

As a family owned, national property solutions provider, we deliver planned and reactive maintenance, capital investment, refurbishment, reconfiguration, high quality new build programmes and industry-leading energy services expertise. In conjunction with a carefully selected number of partner suppliers and subcontractors we deliver these services to a large number of valued clients across the housing, blue-light, education and care sectors.
**Essential and Desirable Criteria**
Essential Detailed knowledge of all Estimating Functions and market rates High level of construction knowledge and technical ability Computer literacy Numerate Desirable Ability to critique and settle the work of others Presentation skills On site experience Qualifications preferred - MCIOB or MRICS
