**Role Overview**

As a Learning Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in our students’ educational journey. You will work closely with students who have a range of special educational needs, providing individualised support to help them navigate their academic and personal challenges. Your role will be crucial in promoting positive behaviour, enhancing self-esteem, and fostering a love of learning.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Personalised Student Support**: Provide one-on-one and group mentoring to students, tailored to their specific needs and challenges.
- **Behavioural Guidance**: Implement strategies to support positive behaviour and emotional regulation, helping students develop effective coping mechanisms.
- **Collaborative Planning**: Work with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and deliver individualised support plans that align with each student’s goals.
- **Academic Assistance**: Assist students in understanding and completing their coursework, adapting your approach to meet diverse learning needs.
- **Well-being Promotion**: Foster a safe and supportive environment where students feel valued, understood, and motivated to achieve their best.- **What We’re Looking For**
- **Experience**: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is essential, particularly those with complex behavioural or emotional challenges.
- **Skills**: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are a must.
- **Attributes**: Compassionate, patient, and adaptable, with a genuine commitment to supporting the holistic development of our students.

Pay: £77.00-£90.00 per day
