Key Responsibilities Early Years Support: Assist in delivering engaging EYFS lessons and play-based learning activities. Child Development: Support children's personal, social, and emotional development in line with the EYFS framework. Observation & Assessment: Record and monitor children's progress, contributing to learning journals and reports. Learning Environment: Help maintain an organised, safe, and inclusive classroom setting. 1:1 and Group Work: Provide support for individual pupils and small groups to enhance learning outcomes. Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support each child's needs. Safeguarding: Follow safeguarding and child protection policies to ensure the well-being of all pupils. Contract Details Position: Early Years Level 3 Teaching Assistant Contract Type: Long-term (ongoing) Start Date: November 2025 Hours: Full-time, 8:20 AM - 3:45 PM Rate of Pay: From £95.29 per day Qualifications & Experience Qualification: Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent). Experience: Minimum of 12 weeks supporting children in an Early Years or primary setting. Training: Up-to-date safeguarding training desirable (training can be provided). Eligibility Requirements Right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply) Two professional references from educational settings Benefits Free access to CPD courses, including EYFS and safeguarding training.
