The Federation of Netley Abbey Schools sit at the heart of our local community in the coastal village of Netley. We are blessed with beautiful surroundings and lots of outdoor space. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic learning support assistant to cover the maternity leave of one of our existing staff members. Within this role you will undertake a variety of responsibilities including class support, running intervention groups and supporting children 1:1 where needed. We are looking for someone who is committed to making a difference for our children. Working among a team of experienced and highly skilled professionals, there will be a wealth of professional development opportunities to further improve and grow your own skills and practice in the classroom and knowledge of how best to support children’s learning needs.

- Experience of working with children in a school setting
- Experience of working with a child or children with additional SEMH needs or SEND
- Has GCSE English and/or Maths at grade C or above, or the equivalent

- Has a child-centred approach and an ability to build relationships with all children
