All our clients are supported at home, within the surroundings that holds memories, and, in a community, they know and trust - with your support they can retain their independence for longer.

As a CAREProfessional, once you've successfully completed your training, you’ll be carefully matched to your clients and asked to visit them in their own homes. Your role is to help them feel as comfortable as possible, support them with anything from shopping and cooking meals to personal hygiene assistance, companionship and social company which are so important for the clients' wellbeing. It’s really, important to be able to build up trust with the client you’re visiting so that they feel comfortable with you. Calls are double the length of a standard social services visit - at Home Instead, you'll be with the client for a minimum of 1 hour (often longer) giving you the chance to build up lasting, professional relationships.

**Qualifications**:
You do not need any experience or particular, qualifications to become a CAREProfessional. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will have a real passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding tailored care service. You will need to be reliable, trustworthy, and respectful individual, someone that will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.

Most importantly you will need to have the right 'values' in treating our clients with dignity, respect and always a person-centred approach. All our team members have caring, kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients and community in the Mansfield and surrounding areas.
