**Overview**
The role of a Door Supervisor is crucial in maintaining the safety and security of premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for patrons while preventing any potential disturbances. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring entry and exit points, managing crowd control, and upholding the establishment's policies. This position requires a vigilant individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

**Duties**
- Monitor and control access to the venue, ensuring that only authorised individuals enter.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property.
- Maintain a visible presence at entry points to promote safety and security among patrons.
- Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid assistance when necessary and liaising with emergency services if required.
- Enforce venue policies and regulations, addressing any breaches in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to security management.

**Skills**
- Proficient in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Certification in first aid is required.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting positively with patrons and staff alike.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 16 per week
