We are looking for a Head of Education, Content and Programmes, a high-impact role that will transform young people's lives across the UK, driving the creation and development of The Inspirational Learning Group's challenge days and educational resources.

In this varied and exciting role, you will be responsible for creating all of our online content and resources, including video and printed documents, which, to date, have been accessed by over half a million young people across the UK. Not only this, you will have the incredible opportunity to work with some of the UK’s leading organisations to develop new challenge days and educational programmes - being involved in all stages of the process, from concept to delivery.

**Your duties will include**:

- Developing and researching concepts and themes for new challenges and programmes.
- Writing scripts for challenge videos and managing client review and sign-off.
- Attending filming days and conducting participant interviews.
- Overseeing edits and managing client review and sign-off.
- Creating teacher guides, lesson plans and student resources.
- Copywriting for all of our products including our website, social media streams and promotional materials.
- Proofreading and editing materials written by others.
- Final sign-off on all video and written content.
- Identifying new areas and opportunities to develop resources and programmes that will provide additional benefits to our user base
- Increase activation and engagement in our digital products, platforms and physical delivery days
- To help drive business growth through engaging and original content.
- Managing team resources to ensure work is scheduled and executed with consistent quality
- Attending schools to support the delivery of our challenge days or to observe facilitation staff.
- Attending promotional events to promote our products and services.

**Experience**

You should be a qualified teacher with at least 2 years’ classroom experience with a proven track record of developing successfully engaging schemes of work or curriculums. You should stay abreast of developments within education on a National scale and should have a good awareness of the issues affecting schools and colleges, that can be used to inform future thinking to add benefits to our products, platforms and services. Some experience of delivering or leading careers education would also be desirable.

The role is based at our Head offices in Stafford, with some hybrid working. There may also be some occasional overnight stays required with the role.

Annual leave allowance - 25 days plus bank holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £40,000 - £45,000 per year (dependent on experience and role)

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
